Super Wide Field Head – 25mm Field of View:

This is a special head that gives a wider field of view, making the image easier to see. This is a big advantage. While most biological microscopes are 18mm, 20mm, or even 22mm, this one has a stunning 25mm field of view.

Eyepiece Pair: Leica L Plan 10x/25, High eyepoint, M. Diopter adjustment on both eyepieces. Part#506800.

Fluorescence Microscopy:

  • Epi-Fluorescent Vertical Illuminator.
  • 100W Mercury Lamp Housing, rear mounted.
  • The 100W Mercury Bulb is not present.
  • Missing the external 100W power supply. These can be found and purchased separately by others.

Dichroic Filter Cube Spaces:

  • Cube #1: empty space
  • Cube #2: Chroma HQ-FITC, #41001 604.
  • Cube #3: Chroma HQ-TRITC, #41002B 608.
  • Cube #4: Chroma DAPI, #31000 608.

Light Condenser:
Condenser Part Number P0.85S1, 551043.

The following condenser settings exist:

  • Brightfield setting.
  • Darkfield. Has darkfield condenser insert.
  • Ph1. The phase contrast annulus for Ph1 is missing. This would be used with the 20x phase objective.
  • Ph2. This is used with the 20x phase objective.
  • Ph3. This is used with the 100x phase objective.
